There is a growing popularity and the need for transcript evaluation services among immigrants and students who intend to study abroad.
First world countries and international Schools require that students and professionals evaluate their credentials. This is a standard procedure put in place to ensure that credentials from any part of the world are standardized and made equivalent to the country or school accepting it.
For example if a Nigerian intends to migrate to say, Canada as a professional, he must necessarily evaluates his credentials as required by IRCC, Canada’s Immigration Body.
Also, there are some situations in which a student is required to evaluate his credentials. Such as when he needs to do a course by course evaluation where he needs to prove he studied courses that are equivalent to that of the intended school.

ICES (International Credential Evaluation Service)
ICAS (International Credential Assessment Service of Canada)
